For the company Nord Industries weshot a presentation videoabout the Nord Monolit frequency converter. The goal of the project was to show the product through real production, the company's engineering base, load testing and the equipment's readiness to work at industrial facilities.

As part of the project, we prepared several pieces of content at once: a large presentation video, a short version for a website block, a separate timelapse of the frequency converter assembly and additional product photos for the website, presentations and marketing materials.

Task

The client needed a strong marketing packaging of the product. It was important not just to shoot the equipment beautifully, but to convincingly show thatNord Monolit is indeed manufactured in Russia, undergoes a full cycle of preparation and testing, and behind the product itself lies the engineering expertise of the company.

The video was planned to be used for presenting the product to potential clients, demonstrating at exhibitions and meetings, placing on the website and in digital communication.

Why the client chose zolotov.studio

Before this, we had already worked with Nord Industries on product photography of the frequency converter and components. The client had a positive experience working with our team, so when choosing a production company, they looked not only at the portfolio, but also at the previous result.

As a result, the customer chosezolotov.studio, despite the fact that our proposal was the most expensive among several production companies. The decision was made due to the portfolio, trust in the approach, and successful experience of previous collaboration.

Preparation

Preparation for the project took about two weeks. During this time, we went to the site several times, gathered information about the product, studied the features of production and built the logic of the future video.

At the pre-production stage, we prepared a script, voiceover text, storyboard, checklists for preparing the site for shooting and the overall concept of the project. It was important for us not just to shoot production, but to deeply understand the product so that the video works as a sales tool and strengthens trust in the brand.

Shooting process

The shooting took place at the client's active production facility. The project turned out to be large-scale: in one shooting day, we needed to shoot a large number of frames at different locations, including the production area, test bench, warehouse, service areas and shipment.

The main shooting shift lasted12 hours. After that, it became clear that an additional day of reshoot would be needed to fully cover the project. This allowed us to capture important scenes without haste and collect material without compromising quality.

In the work on the project fromzolotov.studioparticipated a project manager, director-screenwriter, cameraman-director, assistant, logger, gaffer and lighting technician.

video production

For equipment, we used the main setup onSony FX3and an additional cameraSony A7 IV, set of optics, tripod, slider, video lightAputure, radio systemSennheiserand teleprompter.

What was done

  • prepared script, voiceover text and storyboard for the video;
  • organized shooting at an active production facility with multiple locations and an additional reshoot shift;
  • shot a large presentation video, a short version for the website and a separate timelapse of the frequency converter assembly;
  • simultaneously conducted additional product photography for the website, presentations and marketing materials.

Result

As a result, the client received not just one video, but a full set of content for promoting Nord Monolit in different channels. The video is used for marketing purposes, in presentations, at exhibitions, on the website and in digital communication.

For Nord Industries, this project became an important positioning tool. The video helps to show that behind Nord Monolit is not a formal localization, but a real engineering and production base, a full cycle of work with the product and a serious level of preparation.
