Teleconference with Vladimir Putin: launch of the Pacific Railway

Submit a request

The opening of the Pacific Railway — the first major private railroad in Russia — became an event of federal significance and strategic importance for Russia. During the ceremonial launch of the railway, President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was present via video link, and we acted as the main platform for the teleconference, providing the key technical hub of the event. This was our largest and most serious project, demonstrating that our team is capable of impeccably handling work of the highest level of responsibility.

Project goal:

Our key task was to ensurea seamless teleconferencewith the President of the Russian Federation. The project required impeccable picture and sound quality, tight deadlines, and the organization of several levels of redundancy: the main channel, backup, and backup of backup. This was a technically complex and extremely responsible mission where any mistake was unacceptable.

Preparation:

Work on the project began with a two-week pre-production: coordination of technical requirements, signal routing, redundancy schemes, and logistics planning. This was followed by several days of installation and rehearsals at the venue to polish every stage of the teleconference and guarantee the stability of the broadcast link with the President.

The following were involved in the project implementation:

  • Director — managing the teleconference process and coordinating the entire technical team.
  • Camera operator — working with the camera and ensuring a stable picture.
  • Sound engineer — setting up and monitoring audio signal clarity.
  • Sound engineer assistant — connecting equipment and monitoring sound.
  • Screen engineers — working with LED screens and graphic scenes.
  • Coordinator — organizing all project processes, working with each team member, monitoring quality and deadlines.

We offered the client a number of non-standard solutions: creating a single virtual space for all regions, integrating signals into a digital hall with LED screens and graphic scenes, and deploying backup communication channels. The venue was additionally equipped with light masts to achieve a stable and high-quality picture.

The main difficulties arose in logistics: we needed to account for the weight and dimensions of the equipment and plan the optimal route for delivering equipment and the team. All tasks were solved in advance, allowing preparation to proceed without delays or errors.

What we did:

We built a full cycle of project implementation — from setting tasks to broadcasting the teleconference.

At the start, client requirements were defined, after which we coordinated equipment, selected a team, and organized logistics: purchasing tickets, delivering equipment and personnel to the location. Then we carried out technical planning, installed equipment, configured all systems, and conducted a series of run-throughs, rehearsals, and approvals at all levels of the FSO. On the day of the event, the team ensured the teleconference with signal quality control and successfully completed the task!

  • Creation of an additional viewing area for VIP guests.
  • Deployment of a mobile broadcast control panel.
  • Installation and setup of an outdoor LED screen.
  • Setup of a teleprompter on the LED screen.
  • Installation of stage lighting and artistic illumination of the speaker area.

The main challenges were related to coordinating multiple technical teams, high responsibility, and precise adjustment of the audio path. All difficulties were resolved through the team's coordinated work, flexible operational communication, and detailed equipment preparation.
